Midfielder Beckham has scored twice for Real this season |
David Beckham has rubbished suggestions that Real Madrid are in crisis. The Spanish giants suffered their second league defeat of the season on Saturday and stand-in boss Mariano Garcia Remon is already under pressure.
"We're just starting the season and have played only once in the Champions League. I think people are over-reacting," said the England skipper.
"When the fans at Real Madrid see you not playing well they get worried because they've seen how we can play."
Beckham admitted Real's form had slumped during the past few weeks but inisisted their fortunes would turn around.
"You know we're all right because we've got the best players in the world," he added.

"As far as I'm concerned, there's no question about the players' commitment to Real Madrid."
Beckham said he did not expect manager Remon - appointed in the wake of Jose Antonio Camacho's shock decision to quit - to stay in the post for long.
"At a club like this if a manager comes in and doesn't do well he is changed," he stated.
"That's the way the president, Florentino Perez, works here. He is a very powerful man and I respect that.
"It is not the sort of thing you are used to at Manchester United - managers don't come in and out that quickly. But it is something I've got used to since signing for Real Madrid."
However, Beckham's England team-mate Michael Owen spoke of his frustration at his inability to establish himself at the club.
The former Liverpool striker has only started once for Real and is yet to play a full 90 minutes for the club.
"It has hardly been the ideal start to the season for the team and for me trying to break into the team," he said.
"It's a Catch-22 for me. I need more time to make my mark but in order to get more time I need to do something impressive. It's frustrating."
