Kevin Keegan's Manchester City are heading to Wales |
Total Network Solutions have been drawn against Premiership giants Manchester City in the qualifying round of the Uefa Cup. The Welsh Premier team had a one in four chance of facing Kevin Keegan's side and will be delighted with the prospect of what is a dream tie against City over two legs.
TNS had planned to play their ties at Newtown's ground, but Uefa regulations mean they will have to move to a larger venue, possibly Wrexham's Racecourse Ground.
However, TNS chairman Mike Harris says he will explore the possibility of staging their 'home' leg at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

While the tie is unlikely to fill the 72,500 capacity, City could quite easily bring 30,000 supporters to the match - an attendance figure often reached when they were down in Division Two.
"I am absolutely made up - this is fantastic, the best draw we could possibly have had," Harris said.
"I have no plans to try and rearrange the tie so that we play them at home first.
"I am confident we can go up to Manchester and get a good result and then really put the pressure on them in the second leg.
"If we get the right result I will be looking to relocate the game to the Millennium Stadium - why not?"
City's home leg could be the first competitive match played in their new City of Manchester Stadium, the former Commonwealth Games stadium that has replaced Maine Road as their home.
The first tie will be played on Thursday 14 August in Manchester, with the return a fortnight later
City qualified for the competition through Uefa's Fair Play League and must pre-qualify for the first round proper on their return to European competition after a 24-year absence.
TNS' other possible opponents were Molde FK (Norway), NK Kamen Ingrad (Croatia) and a still-to-be-named Danish team - none of which were anyway near as attractive as Man City.
Cwmbran, Wales' other Uefa Cup representative, will face Israeli side Maccabi Haifa, having avoided NK Publikum (Slovakia), K Sporting Club Lokeren OV (Belgium) and Groclin Grodzisk Wielkopolski (Poland).
The away leg will be played in either Bucharest or, more probably, Izmir, in Turkey.
A final decision will be made early next month.
