Ronaldo staying at Inter
Inter Milan striker Ronaldo
Ronaldo wants to leave the San Siro
Ronaldo will play at least one more season at Inter Milan before a possible move, according to the Italian club's president Massimo Moratti.

Ronaldo looked set to be on his way to Spanish side Real Madrid this summer but Moratti insists the Brazilian will stay at the San Siro whether he likes it or not.

"Do you want to know how this story is going to end?" he said in Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

"Ronaldo will play one more year for us, against his will, and then he will leave whether we win something or not. Just watch."

But Moratti said that if Ronaldo, who spent a lengthy spell injured for Inter, does leave then it will not make a huge difference at the club.

What is certain is that I want to leave
Ronaldo

It was not clear whether Moratti's comments came before Ronaldo's remarks making it clear he wants to leave the Serie A club.

"What is certain is that I want to leave," said the Brazilian who is on international duty.

"I have my reasons and the club knows what they are. But there's no need to make them public."

One of the reasons cited has been his poor relationship with Inter's Argentine coach Hector Cuper.

The player was left out of Inter's Champions League qualifying squad which travelled to Portugal.

And, before flying to Rio, he had been working out alone at Inter's training ground.

The isolation only fuelled speculation that his future lies elsewhere.
