Holland coach Dick Advocaat is ready to ditch his experimental formation as the Dutch look for a winning formula. He will revert to a 4-3-3 line-up after losing warm-up games against Belgium and the Republic of Ireland playing a 4-4-2 'diamond' shape.
The Dutch coach told Uefa.com: "It's clear we'll go back to 4-3-3 and I don't think it's a problem.
"We've always played like that and as a coach I've used that system all the time in the past."
Holland suffered 1-0 defeats to Ireland and neighbours Belgium, prompting Advocaat's rethink.
But striker Pierre van Hooijdonk insisted confidence remains high in the camp.
He told Uefa.com: "We have forgotten the past defeats already and are looking forward.
"We haven't dropped a point in the tournament yet."
