Ballack rues missed chances
GERMANY 1-2 CZECH REPUBLIC
Michael Ballack
Germany's Michael Ballack pinpointed missed chances against the Czech Republic as the reason behind the exit of Rudi Voeller's side from Euro 2004.

"The main problem is that we didn't score any goals," said Ballack after Germany's surprise 2-1 defeat to a reserve Czech Republic side.

"We had lots of chances but didn't get any in the goal. We've played worse gamees in the last few years than his."

"We did our best but it wasn't enough," added Ballack, who got the German goal.
