Makelele suffered a collarbone injury against England |
France coach Jacques Santini said the shoulder injury suffered by Claude Makelele in his side's win over England is not serious. "(Doctor) Jean-Marcel Ferret diagnosed a level one injury. It means it's not serious," Santini said on Monday.
Makelele was hurt after colliding with England's substitute striker Emile Heskey in France's 2-1 win on Sunday.
Santini said Thierry Henry and William Gallas had slight knocks but would be fit to face Croatia on Thursday.
Makelele left the Lisbon stadium with his arm in a sling on Sunday night.
The foul by Heskey led to France's equaliser against England with Zinedine Zidane scoring the free-kick.
A win against Croatia would give reigning European champions France a place in the quarter-finals.
