The former Swedish international also hung up his boots in the same year. He is currently coaching back in Sweden. Peter Schmeichel (Manchester United): Schmeichel is the only player of the original 11 to still have a contract with a Premiership club. The Dane looked to have said goodbye to English football when he moved to Sporting Lisbon. But last season he switched back to Aston Villa and started the current campaign on Manchester City's books. Hans Segers (Wimbledon): Segers finished his playing career in the Tottenham reserves.
After leaving the Dons, he had spells at both Wolves and Woking. In 1997 the Dutchman was acquitted in the "Match-fixing Trial", which was billed as the Football Trial of the Century. He is currently employed at White Hart Lane as the goalkeeping coach to Neil Sullivan and Kasey Keller. Jan Stejskal (QPR): One of four goalkeepers in the list of 11, Stejskal parted company with QPR in 1994. The Czech player returned home and is currently working as a commentator for national television. Michel Vonk (Manchester City): Vonk is currently the coach of the under-14 B team at PSV Eindhoven.
