Macclesfield 0-2 Bournemouth

Macclesfield boss Keith Alexander's visit to hospital overshadowed his side's defeat by Bournemouth.

Alexander, who suffered a brain aneurysm in November 2003, felt ill during the game and left the ground to go for a precautionary brain scan.

On the pitch veteran Lee Bradbury scored twice to pull Bournemouth further clear of the relegation zone.

His first was a stunning volley that went in off the post and he scored again with a shot that just crept in.
