Strengths: The U's have the players capable of free-flowing, attacking football and, in Ben Williams, one of the best goalkeepers in the division.
Weaknesses: While good going forward, the U's can be prone to costly defensive lapses.
Key man: It could be a big season for record signing Steven Gillespie who, after two injury-ravaged campaigns, is in the last year of his contract and needs to show why the U's paid so much money for him.
Last season: Seventh in League Two, promoted via play-offs.
Strengths: With Still's nous at unearthing rough diamonds, the Daggers have a terrific team spirit and togetherness.
Weaknesses: The Daggers have the smallest budget in the division, so may find competing with the likes of Sheffield Wednesday, Southampton and Charlton a tough ask both on and off the field.
Key man: From their non-league days through to the three seasons in League Two, Paul Benson has found the net with impressive regularity, and Dagenham will need him to do it again.
Strengths: Exeter always try to play to play neat, passing football, using the width of the pitch to maximum effect.
Weaknesses: The Grecians have a tendency to be too elaborate and lack a physical presence in midfield.
Key man: If he can stay injury-free, new striker Daniel Nardiello could be the key as City look to the Wales international for the goals to fire them to safety.
Strengths: Pools have some exciting attacking talent in the shape of Denis Behan, Joe Gamble and James Brown.
Weaknesses: Those players have occasionally struggled for fitness, while last season's top-scorer Roy O'Donovan has now moved onto Coventry after impressing while on loan from Sunderland.
Key man: Former Cork City striker Behan will hope to complete more games and score more goals than his six in 29 league appearances during last season's injury-affected campaign.
Last season: Sixth, beaten in play-off semi-finals.
Strengths: A number of notable arrivals over the summer, including Ian Bennett, Joey Gudjonsson, Joe Garner, Jamie McCombe, Gary Naysmith and Lee Croft, who are all of Championship standard.
Weaknesses: Huddersfield travelled badly last season, winning just once away from home against another side in from the top half of the division.
Key man: Chairman and owner Dean Hoyle has breathed new life and considerable cash into the club over the last two seasons.
Strengths: Orient have a great team sprit and strong work ethic. Since arriving at in April, Slade has transformed the mood of the squad, installing qualities that were crucial last season's successful fight against relegation.
Weaknesses: Time and money. Slade has had to completely rebuild his team during the summer and the nine new players may need time to settle, while finances are always tight at Brisbane Road.
Key Man: Midfielder Stephen Dawson emerged as one of the top players in League Two with Bury last season and will be eager to prove himself at a higher level.
