Millwall avoided their fourth league defeat in five matches thanks to an injury-time equaliser from John Marquis against Norwich at the New Den.
Former Manchester United trainee David Fox put the visitors ahead when he produced an excellent finish 15 minutes from time, his first goal for the club.
Marquis, 18, was making his first start for the Lions because of injuries.
And he stabbed the ball over the line right at the death, though Norwich defenders angrily appealed for offside.
The first chance of the match fell to the recalled Chris Martin after nine minutes, as the Norwich man's 20-yard drive was parried by Millwall goalkeeper David Forde.
Lions centre-half Danny Shittu then saw his 20-yard effort superbly tipped round the post by goalkeeper John Ruddy, who also kept out a close-range header from Marquis.
The hosts began the second half strongly, just as they finished the first, with Ruddy called into action to deny Marquis for a second time.
Norwich continued to pose problems of their own. Korey Smith was foiled by Forde from 25 yards before the Canaries took the lead.
Millwall failed to clear a long throw and Fox reacted quickest to smash the ball into the top corner.
The Lions immediately shoved Shittu into attack and he came close to an equaliser, putting his header over from six yards, before Marquis controversially rescued his side with only seconds remaining.
