Tommy Warrilow's Angels were making their Blue Square Bet South debut
Tonbridge Angels, Dartford and Dover Athletic had perfect starts to the Blue Square Bet South season, with all three winning 4-0.
Tonbridge, in their first game since promotion, beat Maidenhead United away with goals from Chris Henry, Jake Beecroft, Jon Main and Ade Olorunda.
Dover overcame Dorchester and Dartford's victory was at Weston-super-Mare.
Bromley also won while Welling United drew 1-1 with Staines Town.
Tonbridge boss Tommy Warrilow told BBC Radio Kent after a disappointing pre-season it was a wonderful way to start life in Blue Square Bet South.
He said: "A fantastic performance. The pre-season wasn't the best but today we had all our shape about us, you do your job as a team that happens and today we did.
It was a game where we relied on a late substitution to make it happen
Bromley manager Mark Goldberg
"We've only had one game so let's see what happens after today. But it could have been seven or eight. We've persevered and 4-0 says what it is."
After the departure of Adam Birchall to Gillingham, two new Dover strikers soon put his name to the back of fans' minds. Billy Brickell and George Purcell both scored twice in their victory at Crabble.
Charlie Sheringham netted twice for Dartford following first-half efforts from Elliot Bradbrook and Tom Bonner.
Manager Tony Burman said the 4-0 victory was nothing more than they deserved.
"It was a decent performance and it's always nice to get a win on the opening day of the season. It wasn't flattering, we came to do a job, prepared really well, we got two set-piece goals in the first half but knew if we came and closed them down we would get our just rewards."
Mike Jones got the late winner for Bromley as they won 2-1 at Hampton and Richmond.
Manager Mark Goldberg said: "It was a game where we relied on a late substitution to make it happen. First half we dominated and went in 1-0 up deservedly.
"We then sat back too much, we didn't impose ourselves enough in the second half, and it took Hampton to nick a goal before we started playing again."
Welling were the only side from the county not to win on the opening day. Andy Pugh was on target in their 1-1 draw with Staines Town.
Last year's runners-up Herne Bay got the Kent Hurlimann league season off to a winning start thanks to a Marsden hat-trick in a 4-2 win at Beckenham. League new-boys Canterbury started with a 1-0 win over Lordswood.
