AFC Telford United will not ease up - Andy Sinton

AFC Telford boss Andy Sinton says the Bucks will not ease up in their final three league games, despite being guaranteed a play-off place.

Eastwood have been barred from the Blue Square Bet North play-offs meaning Telford will finish in the top five.

But Sinton told BBC Radio Shropshire: "That doesn't matter, I will always go out to win every game."

Eastwood are not allowed to compete for promotion as the Badgers' ground does not meet the required standard.

"I feel sorry for Eastwood from a football point of vierw, as they've been going like a train since Christmas," added Sinton. "But from a club point of view, rules are rules.

"Knowing we are definitely in the play-offs may take the pressure off a bit, but it doesn't change anything - we want a winning run to take us into those play-offs.

"And then of course we've got to win three more games to go up."

Bucks midfielder Sean Evans added: "Whatever the position of the team, every player goes out to win every game, come what may.

"It won't affect the lads - when you're on the pitch all you care about is the game and about winning."

Telford, who are second in the table behind champions-elect Alfreton, have three league games to go, against Vauxhall Motors, Gloucester City and Harrogate Town.
