Cambridge 1-2 AFC Wimbledon

AFC Wimbledon scored an easy victory over relegation-threatened Cambridge.

Brett Johnson fired the visitors into the lead when he found the bottom corner from the edge of the area.

Kaid Mohamed doubled that advantage with an unstoppable 18-yard volley from Luke Moore's cross, while Seb Brown did well to tip Conal Platt's effort wide.

Danny Wright did pull a goal back for the hosts with a crisp finish from 12 yards out but it was was too little too late.

Cambridge are just three points off the Blue Square Bet Premier relegation places in 17th place.

AFC Wimbledon retained their grip on second place, five points ahead of third-placed Luton who have two games in hand.
