Paul Rutherford's second-half hat-trick boosted Barrow's survival hopes against lacklustre Kettering.
Rutherford opened the scoring with a well-taken effort from inside the area and Paul Smith grabbed the second with a well-taken strike from 12 yards.
Smith repeated the feat shortly afterwards for 3-0 before Rutherford found the bottom right corner.
He completed his hat-trick in stoppage time with a well-placed header from close range.
Barrow are now four points clear of 21st-placed Southport with a game in hand, while Kettering remain in 15th.
