Tubbs is Crawley's leading goalscorer this season

Matt Tubbs netted his 34th goal of the season as Crawley extended their lead at the top of the Blue Square Bet Premier to 13 points.

Reds defender Kyle McFadzean finished from 25 yards out to open the scoring.

Mansfield came close to equalising moments later but Louis Briscoe's shot ricocheted off the post.

Visiting keeper David Grof staved off efforts from Ben Smith and Dean Howell but Crawley secured the points when Tubbs slammed in from close range.
