Andy Sinton's table toppers now take on Eastwood at home on Tuesday night
AFC Telford United manager Andy Sinton says his players must now focus solely on their own efforts after going top of the Blue Square Bet North table.
While promotion rivals Boston, Nuneaton and Alfreton all dropped points, the Bucks' 3-0 win at Worcester has put them a point clear with 10 games left.
"We can't influence what happens at Nuneaton or Alfreton," said Sinton.
"But we can have an influence on Telford getting three points," he told BBC Radio Shropshire.
Long-time leaders Alfreton, now three points behind Telford, have played three fewer games.
But Nicky Law's side have now suffered back to back defeats.
And, with so many games to cram into such a short space of time, Sinton is hopeful that the fixture pile-up may catch up with the Reds.

"Top is still probably Alfreton really, with their games in hand," said Sinton.
"He's got a big squad but a backlog of games and some tough games so who knows.
"That's why it's important that we get our job done."
Telford now entertain ninth-placed Eastwood Town at the Bucks Head on Tuesday night, a game Sinton will not take for granted.
"I saw Eastwood play last week," added Sinton. "They're probably the biggest side you'll play against so it's another tough game to expect."
