Daish has been at Ebbsfleet for almost six years

Ebbsfleet United manager Liam Daish believes the pressure is now on leaders Braintree in the race for the Blue Square Bet South title.

Daish's side, who are currently second in the table, fought back from 2-0 down at promotion rivals Chelmsford City to win 3-2 on Saturday.

The victory cuts Braintree's lead to six points but they have a game in hand - at Chelmsford on Monday.

Daish told BBC Radio Kent: "They have a game in hand but they have to win it."

He added: "They got to go to a difficult place on a difficult pitch and get through it.

"We've done our job and to come back from 2-0 down away from home against third in the league. I can't ask any more than that because they were magnificent."
