Eastbourne thrashed Southport to pick up their first home win since October.
The visitors went ahead when Neil Jenkins brought down Shaun Whalley in the area and the midfielder stepped up to convert the resulting penalty.
But Boro hit back with two goals in two minutes - Gary Elphick's close-range effort and George Purcell's stunning 30-yard strike giving them the lead.
Matt Crabb blasted in from 20 yards to make it 3-1 and Jamie Taylor wrapped it up with his neat finish.
