Paul Rutherford saw a late effort hit the post for Barrow as they were held to a draw by play-off chasing York.

Jonathan Smith went closest to a goal for the visitors, when he fired over from six yards.

Richie Baker fired wide and also saw an effort saved by Michael Ingham as the home side looked for a late winner.

They came close to finding one when Rutherford hit the post from close range but the sides had to settle for a point each.
