Jamie Collins' second-half penalty earned Newport a point against Cambridge, County's fifth Blue Square Bet Premier draw in six matches.

It leaves Tim Harris' side still looking for their first win in 2011 from 12 outings.

Newport were forced to come from behind after a ninth-minute strike from Simon Russell sailed into the left corner.

But Collins equalised from the spot after Cambridge goalkeeper Simon Brown pushed Robbie Matthews in the area.
