Tamworth moved nine points clear of Barrow and the relegation zone thanks to goals from Danny Thomas and Kyle Perry either side of half-time.

Barrow could have led but Clark Masters kept out Ben Wilkinson's shot.

Thomas converted Perry's cross from close range for the opener and Perry doubled that lead with a header from six yards out.

Andy Cook and Louis Almond went close for Barrow and Paul Rutherford had a shot tipped just wide.
