Hard-up Kidderminster Harriers moved to within a point of the Blue Square Bet Premier play-off zone with another backs-to-the-wall effort to beat Bath.
Tom Shaw's solitary strike won his side the points on 34 minutes when he fired home from six yards after latching onto top scorer Chris McPhee's pass.
Bath had chances to level through Scott Murray's dangerous cross and Kaid Mohamed, who was twice just off target.
But Steve Burr's Harriers hung on for their third league win in four matches.
Despite all their off-field financial problems, and the handicap of being handed a five-point penalty, Harriers have now lost just once in nine league games since the turn of the year.
