A number of AFC Telford United players are being watched by Football League scouts, including one from Colchester, BBC Radio Shropshire understands.
The Bucks are aiming for promotion this season and are currently fifth in the Blue Square Bet North.
"I've had no official approaches but heard many rumours, which at least means we must be a good team," said Bucks boss Andy Sinton.
Sinton has also said he is looking to add to his squad in January.
"We've got a lot of games coming up and I've made enquiries about a number of players," he said.
Captain Shane Killock is thought to have impressed visiting scouts and Sinton added that any interest would be flattering.
"Shane's a good player who can grow with us, but I'd be proud if a side of, say, Colchester's ilk came in for him."
Telford recently extended Killock's contract up to the summer of 2012, with the option of a further extension.
The 21-year-old was signed by previous manager Rob Smith from Oxford United in 2009.
