Kaid Mohamed scored two penalties as Bath turned on the style in the second half to rout Cambridge United and secure a first home win in five games.
A dull first 45 minutes gave way to a goal-laden second period which was kick-started when Marc Canham's superb 20-yard strike found the top corner.
Mohamed netted number two from the spot when James Jennings felled Scott Murray and Murray's low strike made it 3-0.
Mohamed's second penalty sealed the win after Paul Carden fouled Adam Connolly.
