Substitute Paul Furlong netted twice as Kettering thrashed struggling Eastbourne Borough.

The veteran striker was only on the field for a minute when he opened the scoring with a powerful strike.

Things became harder for Boro when Matt Smart received a straight red card for violent conduct before Brett Solkhon's tap-in doubled the host's lead.

Furlong rounded off a fine performance with a well taken header to leave Eastbourne in the relegation zone.
