Barrow's winless away run in the Blue Square Premier continued following a 3-1 defeat at Darlington.

Michael Smith put the home side ahead with a long-range strike before the Bluebirds' Darren Sheridan was sent off for a late tackle on Gary Smith.

Shortly after, the Quakers extended their lead with Marc Bridge-Wilkinson's 30-yard looping effort.

Barrow pulled one back with a screamer from Louis Almond but Aaron Brown's low shot sealed it for the Quakers.
