Barnes-Homer is Luton's top scorer with 13 goals this season

Matthew Barnes-Homer's brace helped Luton to a win over Rushden & Diamonds.

Barnes-Homer headed Claude Gnakpa's pinpoint cross in off the post to give Town the lead just before half-time.

He missed a sitter after the break but atoned brilliantly - collecting the ball under pressure outside the box, he turned onto his left foot and fired in.

Gnakpa, who had earlier seen a goal disallowed, got in on the scoring act himself and added a third with a great arrowed strike into the far corner.
