Kidderminster 1-0 Forest Green

Chris McPhee kept his nerve to ram home an injury-time penalty and secure a dramatic win for Kidderminster against Forest Green Rovers at Aggborough.

Former Harriers defender Gavin Caines fouled McPhee as both players followed up a Keith Briggs strike which had been parried by goalkeeper James Bittner.

And McPhee fired home to keep Harriers just outside the play-off places.

Rovers had their chances but Adam Quinn headed their best effort straight at Harriers keeper Daniel Lewis.

Kidderminster Harriers manager Steve Burr told BBC Hereford & Worcester:
"We watched them [Forest Green] at Bath City and it was similar to how they shaped up here, so we knew it was going to be hard to break them down.

"Teams are coming here now to try and either hit us on the break, or score from a set-piece - so they are showing us a lot of respect for what we are doing.

"But it was a good start to the year for us and I was pleased to see the rebound from the penalty go in."
