AFC Wimbledon will end 2010 top of the Blue Square Bet Premier after they saw off 10-man Eastbourne Borough.
Both sides saw efforts hit the woodwork before Boro had Richard Pacquette dismissed for a challenge on Seb Brown.
Mark Nwokeji put the home side ahead just before half-time when he powered the ball home from deep inside the box.
Ricky Wellard doubled the lead with a close-range finish, before Rashid Yussuff fired into the top corner from outside the area to round off the win.
Lee Minshull had nearly put the home side ahead in the opening 10 minutes, but saw his header hit the bar.
The visitors could also have taken an early lead, but Jamie Taylor suffered the same fate when he lashed a shot against the crossbar.
The home side did have chances to extend their lead even further, but both Reece Jones and Nwokeji were denied by visiting goalkeeper Rikki Banks.
