Aaron O'Connor's injury-time strike earned Rushden & Diamonds a point in a fine comeback at Forest Green Rovers.

Curtis McDonald put the home side ahead with a powerful shot from 20 yards on 20 minutes and he doubled their lead from close range five minutes later.

But the double goalscorer fouled Craig Farrell in the area to allow Alan Power to pull a goal back for Rushden from the penalty spot in the second half.

And O'Connor rescued a point for the visitors with his close-range effort.
