Reece Styche grabbed his ninth goal of the season as Forest Green moved out of the drop zone with a draw at Gateshead.

The hosts, looking for their first win in five matches, scored first when Gary Mulligan tapped in from close range after Michael Kay's pin-point cross.

The lead could have been extended but a speculative overhead kick from Jon Shaw was saved by Rovers' James Bittner.
