A first-half hat-trick from Matt Tubbs helped Crawley go top of the table as they thrashed lowly Altrincham.
Tubbs notched his first from the penalty spot after a handball by Ryan Brown before Scott Neilson headed home.
Tubbs poked home his second and completed his hat-trick with another penalty after Matt Somner handled.
Alty's Shaun Densmore had a penalty saved by Michel Kuipers, before sub Richard Brodie set up Sergio Torres and then notched a late brace himself.
