Substitute Gary Mulligan's goal salvaged a point for Gateshead against Tamworth at The Lamb.

The home side took the lead just before the break in stunning fashion, Jay Smith firing a 30-yard shot into the top corner.

Gateshead got back on level terms when Mulligan slotted into the bottom right hand corner from six yards out.

The Lambs could have won it but Paul Farman saved Neil MacKenzie's shot before Aaron Mitchell headed wide.
