Fleetwood lost ground on the top three in the Blue Square Bet Premier after they were held at home by Gateshead.

The impressive Ian Craney was denied in the first-half by Ben Clark's block and a save by keeper Tim Deasy.

But Gateshead could have won it after the break with Scott Davies tipping round the post from Jon Shaw as both sides went in search of a winner.

The result leaves Fleetwood seven points off from leaders AFC Wimbledon while Gateshead remain in mid-table.
