Grimsby earned their third straight league draw as Rob Eagle struck a first-half leveller to cancel out Danny Wright's opener.

The Mariners had started in superb fashion, but Wright fired Cambridge ahead against the run of play.

But Alan Connell fed Eagle to equalise before the break from 12 yards.

Both sides looked for a winner with Grimsby's Andrew Wright heading over before Cambridge's Alex Stavrinou shot against the bar.
