Kidderminster fought back from 2-0 down to earn a draw at Southport as both teams finished with 10 men.
Chris Simm put the home side ahead with a 20-yard drive and Robert Marsh-Evans headed a second before half-time.
Lee Morris pulled a goal back for the Harriers with a close-range header before Southport's Tony McMillan was sent off for a professional foul.
Chris McPhee scored the resulting penalty for Kidderminster, who then had Jack Byrne dismissed for a bad tackle.
Kidderminster manager Steve Burr told BBC Hereford & Worcester: "Again, we've given ourselves a mountain to climb but we got back into it in the second half after we made a couple of changes at half-time.
"I am just disappointed we didn't win it at the end as we had some good chances.
"But I thought we started off the game and then a mistake leads to a goal and the second goal they have scored was from not picking up so to go in 2-0 down was disappointing."
