Blyth Spartans have confirmed that players have been released to meet new budgetary requirements at Croft Park.
Stephen Harrison, Sam Grieveson, Calvin Smith and Ian Graham have parted company with the club to bring Spartans into line with the reduced outgoings.
"Departures mean that the manager has now gone a long way towards meeting the new budget," a club statement said.
The board opted to cut the budget in response to reduced attendances and lost sponsorship.
