Jason Walker joined Barrow from Morecambe in 2007

Blue Square Bet Premier leaders Crawley Town were held to a draw by a battling Barrow outfit.

The Bluebirds floundered early on and Matthew Tubbs gave the visitors the lead, firing in from close range.

The home side responded after the break and were soon on level terms when Jason Walker netted from the spot after Pablo Mills had fouled James Owen.

Walker had a great chance to steal all three points late on but his header was straight at Reds keeper Michel Kuipers.
