Wrexham players believed this effort crossed the goal line

Fleetwood Town lost ground on leaders Crawley after being held to an entertaining draw away at Wrexham.

The home side thought they had claimed all the points eight minutes from time when Gareth Taylor's shot struck the bar and appeared to go over the line.

Taylor saw an earlier chance from the edge of the box turned away by Fleetwood keeper Scott Davies.

Chris Maxwell was Wrexham's hero, first denying Magno Vieira and later pushing Wayne Curtis' drive on to the bar.
