Jamie Taylor's spectacular strike from 30 yards helped Eastbourne Borough to a win over managerless York City.
Eastbourne took the lead as Taylor's long-range effort curled into the net past York goalkeeper Michael Ingham.
The hosts went 2-0 ahead when Simon Johnson headed in from Steve Cook's long ball, before a deflected effort from Alex Lawless gave York hope.
But City, with Andy Porter in caretaker charge for the third game, could not force a draw despite late pressure.
