Kidderminster 2-0 AFC Wimbledon

Chris McPhee
McPhee helped extend Harriers' unbeaten run with his first-half opener

Kidderminster Harriers extended their unbeaten Blue Square Bet Premier run to six games after overcoming AFC Wimbledon at Aggborough.

The Dons threatened early on but Chris Brush and Sammy Moore's shots both failed to find the net.

Harriers went ahead just before half-time when Chris McPhee fired past Dons keeper Seb Brown from 12 yards.

Marc Williams secured the points for the Harriers late on with a left-foot shot from six yards.

Kidderminster manager Steve Burr told BBC Hereford & Worcester:
"We've been on a run of not losing and proving a hard side to beat and I feel that a few lads are starting to find their feet at this level as well and the rhythm and movement is a lot better than it was a month ago.

"But they are working very hard and you have got to work hard week in, week out in this division.

"But it is a good platform for us to push on and I was quite confident going into today as I saw a lot of pluses at Fleetwood on Tuesday and I was looking forward to the game today."
