Kettering 1-1 Wrexham

Jean-Paul Marna's penalty just five minutes from time rescued Kettering from defeat at Rockingham Road.

Midfielder Dean Keates fired Wrexham ahead when he drilled home a low, left-foot shot just before the break.

Iyseden Christie was close to levelling with a left-foot volley brilliantly tipped round the post by Scott Shearer.

But the Poppies finally broke through when defender Marvin Andrews brought down Christie - and Marna fired home to salvage a draw.

Having again failed to win in front of their own fans for the fifth time this season, Kettering stay in the Blue Square Bet Premier bottom four - six places, and four points, behind Wrexham, who lie 15th.
