Alfreton boss Nicky Law scoops manager of month award
Law's side are two points clear at the top of the table after a perfect start
Alfreton Town boss Nicky Law has been named Blue Square Bet North manager of the month for August.
The Reds have enjoyed a stunning start to the new season, winning every one of their opening six games.
They found the net 19 times during the month and achieved two consecutive 5-1 away wins in the process.
The Blue Square Bet Premier division award went to AFC Wimbledon's Terry Brown while Bromley's Mark Goldberg won the award in Blue Square Bet South.
It is the third time Law has won the award with Alfreton having also won it in February 2010 and April 2009.
Law's side are now just one win away from matching their best start to a season.
That seven-game run came at the beginning of the 1969/70 Midland League campaign and can be matched if the Reds beat Vauxhall Motors at the Impact Arena on Saturday.
