Drury joined Luton from neighbours Stevenage this summer
Andy Drury scored his first goal for Luton and was then sent off as the Hatters came from behind to draw against Hayes & Yeading.
The winger directed his header across goal and into the far corner to cancel out Bradley Pritchard's well-executed chip over keeper Mark Tyler.
Pritchard had a second disallowed for offside, and he fired a chance wide late on as Hayes looked for the win.
Luton's hopes ended when Drury was sent off late on for a foul on James Mulley.
Luton manager Richard Money said: "Hayes and Yeading did their manager proud, they'll take a lot of points from teams this season, especially playing away from home.
"They put their bodies on the line to make sure we didn't score a winner - all I would say is at least one of them must have been a penalty!
"We hit the bar, had shots blocked on the line, shots charged down, so we did everything we could to score the winner, and I thought our support was excellent."
