Faversham captain Tom Hickman led his side to the league and cup double
Faversham Town have won promotion to the Ryman League just seven years after being thrown out of the Kent League.
The club, which reformed in 2005, won the Kent League title in emphatic style - thrashing Corinthian 8-0, just days after winning the Kent Senior Trophy.
"It's been one hell of a season," manager Justin Luchford told BBC Radio Kent. "In fact it's been one hell of a two-and-a-half years for me.
"This is just an unbelievable feeling for me, it's absolutely fantastic."
He added: "What a way to do it. There's me driving down the motorway thinking we only need a point and then they do that second half. What can I say? It's brilliant."
To win promotion and do the double is a really nice feeling
Faversham chairman Bob Mason
Richard Sinden and Dale Skelton bagged two goals each, while Dayne Lutchford, Dave Sauton, John-Paul Collier and Michael Smissen got the others.
Faversham narrowly escaped folding in 2003, when they were ejected from the Kent League over non-payment of fines.
Chairman Bob Mason, who was playing in the side that day, admitted the club's success has happened far quicker than he ever dreamed.
"It's great and it's a culmination of a lot of hard work by a lot of people over the last few years," he said.
"Denise Richmond, the chairman of the Kent League, jokingly told me that when we were invited back into the league we were suppose to stay there for a few more years.
"To win promotion and do the double is a really nice feeling."
