AFC Telford United's Stuart Whitehead has won BBC Radio Shropshire's fans' player of the year award.
Listeners to the 'Verdict', the football fans' phone-in, have voted after every game this season and Whitehead was the number one choice.
"I'm very surprised, it's a nice accolade to win," the defender told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"I thank the fans for their support. Personally I think Shane Killock and Liam Blakeman have played well."
Mdfielder Blakeman and Kevin O'Connor were close behind. Striker Andy Brown won last season's award.
