Highlights - Oxford United 2-0 Mansfield

James Constable grabbed a late double as Oxford United secured a deserved victory against Mansfield.

Constable shot home from 12 yards with 16 minutes left when a fine run from Alfie Potter saw Sam Deering's strike saved by keeper Alan Marriott.

And the big striker pounced to fire in the second via a deflection after another Deering strike was saved.

Oxford can still finish second but need to win their last two games and hope Luton do not win their final match.

The U's missed a host of chances against the Stags, particularly in the first half.

Constable was twice denied by Marriott early on and Matt Green headed wide inside the first five minutes.

At the other end Jake Speight hooked a first-time shot past the post on a rare Stags attack but Oxford continued to create chances at will.

Jack Midson sent a flicked header just wide and a fine 18-yard curling effort from Adam Chapman was tipped wide by Marriott.

Kevin Sandwith also headed over while Simon Clist missed a glorious chance from a deflected cross.

The visitors enjoyed more of the play after the interval but Oxford were still on top

Constable missed another fine chance to break the deadlock before he did finally open the scoring from close range.

Midson was denied a second goal soon after when the impressive Marriott made a fine save from the striker's downward header but Constable's second after 86 minutes sealed the win.
