Crawley claimed back-to-back league victories with a close win over Histon.
Both sides had chances to score in the first half with Lee Smith heading over for the hosts and Crawley striker Danny Forrest hitting the bar.
But the home side took the lead three minutes after the interval when midfielder Eddie Hutchinson headed into the top corner.
Charlie Sheringham had a chance to draw Histon level but his header from close range missed the target.
