Midfielder Chris McPhee scored twice as Kidderminster Harriers won to leave Gateshead in relegation trouble.
The Heed set the tempo for the majority of the game, and Daryl Clare missed the target moments after the restart.
But it was Harriers who opened the scoring with 16 minutes left, as Darryl Knights set up McPhee to fire home from the edge of the area.
Six minutes later, substitute Knights again set up McPhee with a cross and the ex-Weymouth man headed home.
Kidderminster are in 10th place, while Gateshead are 20th - one spot and three points above the relegation zone.
