Moses Ashikodi scored twice for Ebbsfleet as they beat Eastbourne to keep their survival hopes alive.
Stefan Bailey drilled in from 30 yards to give Eastbourne the lead but Matt Crabb fired in an equaliser.
Ashikodi put Ebbsfleet ahead with a quick-fire double but Joe Benjamin reduced the deficit from close range.
The visitors were awarded a penalty when Benjamin was fouled by Dean Pooley, who was dismissed, but Simon Weatherstone missed the spot-kick.
The Fleet are now two points behind the Sports, and safety, with three games remaining.
